20th day of Manga Advent Calendar 2015
Hello everyone, here is the twentieth day of Manga Advent
Calendar 2015.Now as I said as in the previous article. The hint for today is
another similar to Sword Art Online but this time it focused on construction of
a liveable world rather than beating the game. The selection is Log Horizon.
I was looking for another alternative to Sword Art Online
but as a modern example with better animation but also with an in-depth story
line and likeable characters. I found this after I finished Dot Hack and I found
this a lot easier to understand and over all a much more likeable journey. I
also love the concept it doesn’t focus on combat but instead focuses more on economics
and creating a government in order to stabilise society, as there is no foreseeable
way to leave this world. There is also the cast enjoy this world of their own
free will as opposed to SAO where there working towards leaving the game.
The story of Log Horizon is that Shiroe and the rest of the
players of Elder Tale the massively multiplayer online role-playing game are dragged
into a world that is like the game as they live through their avatars. The
player must adapt to their surrounding and set up government that will make
sure that players are kept safe from players who have gone rogue. Shiroe and
his team are on hand to help. The plot is constantly expanding on the universe
and issues that arise such as industry and politics.its also reallyIn-depth with how the world works with elements such as NPCs and respawning.
This manga is really amazing just for the main character
alone Shiroe is amazing. He is able to plan out everything within the series to
see what happens and to get the outcome he wants. He is the brains within the
team and he is a veteran player and that’s what puts him above most other
players and gains him respect. The pacing within the story is good and doesn’t
have all the time skip nonsense that SAO had and also keeps the story to the
point with no filler chapters which is a good thing. This is also a good manga
(anime is good adaptation as well) with its colourful cast like the warrior, assassin
and swordsman. As a plyer of rpgs I love this manga because its aware of what it’s
going for.

today. The manga I will be looking into tomorrow is a manga that is long and
deals with demons but the anime is Finally getting a season two.
